My uncle is back in the hospital again. The throat cancer has spread to his brain...no one knows quite what to expect but, it does not look too good right now. It is not clear if or how this affects our travel plans right now but, it may make things difficult. As of right now, everything is a 'GO'. On a brighter note, I'd very much like to take in the Brett Weston exhibit. Is the Phillips collection...uhm, in Charlotte? Pardon my ignorance. I haven't my travel guide handy and the web site, www.phillipscollection.org seems to be unreachable at the moment. Brad. TheFlyingCamera 06-10-2008, 05:26 PM The Phillips Collection is in Washington, DC. It is a private museum located just off Dupont Circle. Aw shit. I can't do the 21st - I have my volunteer shift to do at Artomatic that day from noon to five pm. c6h6o3 06-10-2008, 11:07 PM The Phillips Collection is in Washington, DC. Just come on Sunday. I'll probably still be in there, having found some closet to hide in for the night. Brad, if you are around here I can take you over there. Nobody ever has to talk me into going to the Phillips. |
