I've accessed this site, read some of the dialog there ... and I agree - in large part, with the characterization.

I remember the "split" - it was something more significant than "fading away". There were deep and lasting wounds suffered - mostly away from - and without any mitigation or control possible from APUG.

I admired those on BOTH sides of this conflict ... Zoe is a wonderful model, her website contains a great deal of really fine work, and she offers valuable insight from the model's veiwpoint.
On the other side were a few - certainly less than ten - members of APUG who, in my humble opinion, were struck with a MAJOR case of 'superego' morality distortion - utter, furious outrage directed towards anyone who dared to participate in an art form justified by thousands of years of recogniton.

My ideal resolution to all this would be the return of everyone to APUG. Certainly no one could argue about the value of the contributions from everyone involved - but ....

Let us resolve to be kind, and respectful to one another - and supportive of their chosen work.

Which I quite don't understand...
We all know that the first photo is a ghost-like image of a rooftop and I can bet the farm that the second one was a nude. Look at all the works by Cunningham and Weston and the price they command right now.
Getting up close and personal for every dislike seems to be the new way of life nowadays.

Though I don't comment, I really do appreciate your work; your prints are always beautiful and I'm always ending up with more questions than answers.
