What? I thought they stopped all instant film production. I wonder where this is coming from?

It says "Final Run" on the Webpage to which you linked.
I will miss the Polaroid smell, but that's about it. Still, sad to see yet another film type fold.

There is a very long thread on Flickr on this subject. Apparently Freestyle managed to snag Polaroid's very last, final run of this film, which was re-formulated to resemble the original SX-70 film...as opposed to the recent Polaroid "Blend" SX-70 film which was extremely difficult to manipulate. From what I understand, a lot of the batch is already gone--there are a lot of Polaroid users out there who've been snapping the stuff up. Kind of reminds me of what happened when Agfa dropped the bomb a few years ago.
At least AGFA going didn't kill of an entire art form, one that even had a whole magazine dedicated to it! I wish someone would make Precisa again thought!
