There are a few bugs but should be fixed later today as well as a "customize Sidebar" link added to the actual sidebar..

I love having 5 recent gallery pics there now :)

I get 'Latest Portfolio Photo' at the top of the page. Whatever that image is, it will not change until another Portfolio Photo is added. That may be weeks?

With 'Latest Gallery Photo ' at the top it changes a few times a day. I like that.

Just adjust the number for "Order", make sure your gallery block is order 1 and the other blocks 2,3,4,5 etc. Also you can enable and disable blocks etc. let me know how it goes.

looks very fine, and seems to work fine here. Why do I have to select the number of items to show from a popup list. I would rather type it. I would like to show 5 recent adds, not 4 or 6.

I can see about adjusting the numbers but the drop down is needed because of the way the overall structure is coded..

there is always a good explanation for how things look and work. It works great and is a very nice upgrade.

just realised that there is a small bug, it just displays "bloggername" and the blogs listed are not the latest.

I'm getting the "customize sidebar" on the right (my sidebar is to the left), and it's kind of creating it's own empty space sidebar, and making the body of the threads a little too narrow. Is this a bug?

I've got six 'customize sidebar' buttons across the top of the page and a thread column as narrow as the sidebar.

That just now happened to me, but now it's behaving normally. I did a "right-click open in new tab", running Safari.

sorry had a bit of a glitch for a few mins all should be well now. i think all the bugs are worked out so consider the 1st new sidebar rolled out and we can improve it from here if needed :)

Can you expand to show more gallery images (10, 20) and maybe a random images option?
It would be like having the latest gallery images and forum posts at the same time.
The buttons I use most often are the "xx new posts" "forum-my posts" and "gallery" and would like to streamline the process of checking the new stuff in APUG.

Great ideas Ari. I am now working on adding a "My Forum Posts" block so people have fast access to their own postings and am upping the gallery photos to 20 max. On the other options I am also going from 2,4,6,8,10 to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 This should be ready soon

How do you get rid of the side bar? I hate the side bar!

At the top of the sidebar click "Customize Sidebar" then on that page "Select where you want the sidebar to appear:" select "Disabled" and save the change
