...in the Snowy Mountains, Australia. Great skiing, wild horses, hiking and a beautiful piece of earth.

Wanna play? :)

A few years ago it would have been near an ocean.... After visiting the Eastern Sierra I'm hooked on the mountains. Or even better, the Owens Valley between two ranges. How to make money in the middle of nowhere high desert? Nice thought, Nicole. =) Shawn

Spain. Probably Segovia, but not absolutely decided. It's only an hour and a half by train or bus from Madrid, but you are close to the mountains, big open spaces, and every day you walk over 2000 years of history. There, or San Francisco. I think it is the most beautiful city in the US - I love the weather, the geography, the big city activities plus the access to incredible natural landscapes within a half-hour drive up or down the coast. And the food!

I'de live in the past, in the beach house I grew up in, in the safety and happiness and magic I had as a child.

A rather large and stable magic carpet that would take my family and cameras to all of the above plus the next places of interest.

Greece is a very nice place but unfortunately is populated by Greeks.
As long as I get to travel though, all places are good for me. Apart from the boring ones that is.

As a U.S. import to Norway, I am with Ole.

This place is hard to beat ( in the summer, when the sun is out. Come winter I would probably give a different answer :) )

I suppose you've heard "heller en dram i timen enn en time i Drammen"? :D

Eastern Norway is far down my list of places where I'd like to live - very close to the bottom, in fact! :p

I don't think I can really pick one place. 6 months to several years in any number of places, but with a nice small place in rural New England to come back to.
