Well ever since Clark was born premature last year I haven't shot much and most of the crap I had started to just sit kinda like storage and eventually the computer room turns into a pigsty you rarely go into anymore, and the walk in closet gets filled with boxes of baby cloths and other things and so on and so on and so on.

Well We're having #2 on Monday (scheduled c-section), and as preparation Rose's friends and myself clearing out two of the rooms so that they can become tidier storage rooms to make room for the main bedroom and so forth to place two cribs and so forth.

Well her friends every time they found a couple rolls of film that I had stashed god knows where would vocally announce it as if a game of bingo.

This is the result of the stashes gathered into one place, not including the 10 or so pro-packs of E6 120 film in the fridge/freezer, or the bunch of 35mm bulk, 4x5, and B&W paper stashed into the smaller closet.

And to think I was bitching bout not being able to find [x brand] of film a couple weeks ago. Btw this is one of those big rubbermaid totes.

(and IF I can actually find time and a place in the house I'll have to develop the few rolls I managed to find that haven't been developed yet. Assuming I won't be so busy with webdevelopment [my only source of income right now] or taking care of two kids while the wife recovers from her c-section [which doc says she'll need bed rest for 6 weeks])

PS: Yes I know, I'm a lazy son of a bitch if they found all that in a cluttered computer room. There I said it.

Good luck to you, Karl, and your wife. Our #2 son did in any spare time I had for photography. It was temporary, however, and now that he is 5.5 years old I'm getting some time again.

Nice collection of film, etc!

I just had to clear out my office to make it the baby room for the little person who is scheduled to arrive on 8/30.

I found 280 rolls of APX 100 in the closet !

How exactly does one misplace 280 rolls of ANY 120 film?

Congrats on your #2 Karl! That also looks like a really interesting stash you have, and as a bonus you can sell the bulk roll to Techpan to finance college! :D

My daughter had two sets of twins via C-section. She was the primary caregiver immediately on going home from the hospital. My son-in-law was a great helper but also had two jobs to work. Your wife will need a lot of help but a big portion of it will be the usual number of things when a new baby arrives.

Good luck!

I'm at the other end (youngest is 27) and I'm still cleaning out the "stuff" left from raising kids. Every time I think I can reclaim one of their rooms for photography or computer use, I find that some of the goodies left from their time here have been stored there. I do, however, still lose my things quite well in the spaces left to me. 280 rolls of film...? not likely.
