Dear All,

As its 'back to school' period I thought I would just advise Apuggers on some promotions available that they may make use of, they will be in the shops in the States now :

100 Sheets + 3 x HP5+ 135-36 free MGIV RC Gloss and Pearl 10 x 8

A pure coincidence that I checked the 'latest press release' on ilfordphoto earlier today. Simon; in your post you mention that this offer is available in the USA. The press release doesn't mention anything about a geographical limitation (although the use of the word 'fall' instead of 'autumn' could be taken as a hint :p).

Just to be clear... is this a US only offer, or can we expect to see it in Europe as well?

Dear Kraker,

We have deals in Europe as well but they differ from USA

Paper deals are 100 + 20 sheets free and 25 sheets + 25 sheets free 17.8 x 24 on MGIV RC :

Australia, has the above deals as well but in 20.3 x 25.4

Kind Regards

Simon. HARMAN technology Limited

As a student, I can tell you these offers are highly appreciated here. A few extra sheets may not seem like much, but they allow us to finish our assignments from one pack without stressing over the paper consumption too much. Then we go off and buy another pack anyway, to print our own photos...

My take on these offers, is that it really is the best way for the manufacturer to ensure that any bonus, or price reduction, gets to the customer, not any of the middlemen.

Last time when these came out, which was early this year for the back to school stuff, I bought 10 boxes and effectively received a 20% discount.

Although the 25 sheet packets with the extra 10 sheets works out at 12% (money wise) cheaper than the 100 sheet boxes, I really do need (or like) the boxes for storing/transporting/keeping dark, paper and/or prints far better than the flatter packets.
