San Francisco

I just got back from San Francisco. A great city for photography. Maybe not the taking, but there did seem to be well mounted monochrome photos in many restaurants and hotels I encountered. The photography Exhibition at the SFMOMA was excellent.

My better half volunteered that an artful monochrome can be better than colour post card type prints.

I'm a fool. I didn't tell you about the excellent wet plate show that was at the Rayko Photography Center only a few blocks from the SFMOMA.
