I recently bought the 55-110 lens which I very much like. I was thinking about getting the "mate" to it, the 105-210. I was curious if anybody had any experience with it and whether it was a useful lens for general outdoor b&w shooting? My other lens is the 35mm wide and I had a 150mm but my son lost it.

Hi, 105-210 ULD is a great lens for landscape, but it is a bit heavy and harder to focus, since the aperture is a bit slow. And like most film camera equipment, you can get a bargain now compared to the original price. I recently sold mine for $250 because I'm trying to pare down.

How do the 645 zooms compare to the primes as far as contrast and overall sharpness? I really like what I get from the 80 on mine and wonder if I can get as good from the zooms.

The mamiyas are excellent, same quality as primes.
