This "sounds" interesting but for us old f--ts how do we connect to this? Is it standard radio or on-line? I don't own an Ipod or what ever it is these days. Will APUG post a schedule of events for the show?

Hello Robert :-)

You can just go to the website and listen there or you can subscribe thru iTunes and get it delivered to you Mac or PC and listen thru iTunes. You don't need a iPod and any other device to listen but your computer. We will set up a way to let everybody know who is on the weekly show. Also I would LOVE any suggestions you might have about the program and ANY guests you might like to hear from.

This Saturdays show we will have Jonathan Canlas, he is a working pro photographer that shoots ONLY FILM, he has his own mini lab and runs the VERY COOL workshop... Film Is Not Dead. Give it a listen.

Hope you like the program and fill free to ask any and all questions !

Thanks

Scott

Subscribed. Can always make room for one more podcast. Hope this works well for both parties.

Heard it last night. I'd like to reserve judgement until a few more episodes but I hope the commercial spin to it doesn't control the show.

Wow, this sounds like a really good idea, I subscribed already.

I'm really curious to see how APUG will be featured over time, or in what ways it will contribute to the show. A dedicated research person would probably not lack subject matters by looking at APUG's forum.

Question (from an ol' fogey)... do I need to download iTunes to get updated programs?? Or will they be updated regularly on the home page?
The home page didn't have last night's program.

I tried my Mac on the program and heard nothing Darn it all, Where are the simple ways of simply turning on a devise and getting what you want. I'm a analog person in a digital. Hi-def age.
ARRG!

No issues here on the homepage just clicking the play button. I'll ask Scott what it requires but it looks like flash, so if you have flash installed:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

All you have to do is visit the homepage and click play. The other option is podcast from itunes.

Not quite sure I liked this one. It's sort of the internet spoken to me, and slightly patronising. If you're working in instant, you're probably already familiar with the fuji stuff. No hard-hitting questions like, when are you going to bring out an instax camera that is higher quality? AF/manual focus etc like an sx-70. At the moment instax isn't a good subsitute for polaroid 600/sx-70 cameras :(

Also, the editing! Holy cow, how many cut&pastes of audio were there on this? :o

I'm looking forward to the next podcast to see where it's going.

P.S. APUG is now pronounced a.p.u.g.? I thought it was cuter calling it a-pug.

I think that's just for clarity on the domain otherwise listeners might think the site is ape hug.

It will evolve and I'm sure Scott will take all the feedback here on board.. One interesting thing is that registrations on the pug are up about 40% since the show began so it's definitely helping folks find us.
