View Full Version : Spell Check Added Hi All,
I have added a spell check application. It seems to work well (on IE6 at least). Let me know if you have any problems with it. You will notice the new spell check button in the bottom right of the post box that you use to post new messages -as seen in the below screen shot:

To edit the words follow the directions in the screenshot below:

Hope it works well, I know I need it!! Jim Chinn 10-17-2003, 03:56 PM wat are u tring to tel us? great, am seriously over-educated and can't spell worth a darn. Sat on a lot of dictoraryn in my time.
It would appear to work, however it is lost with my typing of dictionary. Is it universal English ??!! Appears to be. I tried "colour" and "color" and it accepted them even though colour is misspelt (haha, ok, ok, just joking)
I've also updated the instructions with a better screenshot. Jorge Oliveira 10-17-2003, 06:32 PM Thanks a lot in the name of all non-native English speakers!
Jorge O Since a lot of people like to use the "quick reply" form at the bottom of the forum posts, I added a button to spell check the quick replies. I couldn't figure out how to line it up with the other buttons, might try later.. Flotsam 10-17-2003, 08:12 PM Thanks a lot in the name of all non-native English speakers!

I've forgotten to thank you for making it work with Opera.
Jorge O hmm, haven't changed anything yet, but if it insn't broken I won't try to fix it :) Jorge Oliveira 11-03-2003, 01:38 PM I usually identify the browser as MSIE 5.0 (and it did not work).
I've tried identifying as Opera, and it worked.
