An announcement for all of my LF friends. I have the privilege of hanging a rather large show of my work at the Nevada State Library in Carson City, Nevada. I'll be putting the display together on Friday the 7th of November and it will hang until February. My main thrust will be Black & White fine art works but I will also be displaying 12 color 20X30" pieces that were commissioned by the Nevada Commission on Tourism: Pioneer Territory. The B/W work includes many 8X10 contact prints including some that were done with unsharp masking. If you find yourself near Northern Nevada and would like to view the real thing up close and personal, I entreat you to make the pilgrimage to the main Nevada State Library.

Congratulations! That is a great personal accomplishment and we all know what a tremendous amount of time and effort it represents. I can't make it geographically but offer my support in spirit. Keep us updated on how it goes. Maybe you can give us just a taste of it in the Gallery?

Congrats, Jim! I have family in Las Vegas and friends in California not far from Tonopah, so if I find myself out there, I just may try to catch it.

No chance of rhat happening but would still like to see the pictures. Is there any prospect of the exhibition appearing on a website ?

A very heartfelt "thanks" to all who have said kind words and encouragements. Jorge and Sean you can be very proud of the tone you have set for this place. I plan on posting some of the images properly right here in the gallery. Again thanks.
