View Full Version : Welcome Fujifilm & Freestyle Photographic, now APUG Partner Level Sponsors!
Good news. Freestyle is already my most used vendor and when FujiUSA imports Acros in 8x10 will be my most used film supplier ;).

Excellent news.
On a pedantic note, on the partners page is this text:
Much to our relief these these companies stepped up to the plate and saved the day
One too many instances of 'these'
Steve.
Oops, thanks Steve.
I'm glad to see the positive comments rolling in. In other good news vBulletin 3.8 has gone gold and I'll be upgrading us to that at the end of the month. This is going to add many new features especially to the social groups area.

Fantastic news. I've only just started shooting slides (mostly Velvia) so this will give me more incentive to shoot...more!
I've never used Freestyle, but with this news that will probably change. I'm about due to order some more film.
Thanks once again for all your work, Sean.
I found Freestyle way back in the early nineteen seventies. Anything I wanted was sent to the house in a couple of days even back then. I can't think of another partner that would be good for film photography than Freestyle.
I don't know that much about Fuji except that it has an excellent reputation and the comments about the products here are very good, I hope to learn more about the company and it's future plans and developments in the future.

SO good! I have used Freestyle several times from the east coast of Canada and have been pleased each time, particularly when the Canadian dollar was high against the US dollar ;) Ahh, good times.
And Fuji. What can I say about Neopan and Acros? Very nice stuff, I just wish I could get out and shoot more of it.
Kudos to all.

Congratulations!
Elevator really have been a great partner of this site, and indeed we should be thankful for their contributions. I know, on a personal level, that I've enjoyed getting to meet Bob in person thanks to APUG, and it's been tremendously valuable to me.
Fuji Film and Freestyle? Wow. Keep up the good work is all I can say. Great partners!
Congratulations.

Pretty aweome Sean, and more so, what this site became over a relatively short span of 7 years.
My kudos to you for what you've created, managed and grown.

Now if we could just get Freestyle to mention APUG on its main web page and in the catalogue . . .

This is great, I love Acros and Reala films and have always had good dealings with Freestyle.
Both are excellent companies and I'm sure they will be great sponsors. Congrats to the team that made this happen.

Is there any way that we could encourage them to make a 4 inch by 5 inch sized "instant film pack" similar to their 2 & 1/4 by 3 & 3/4 size that they offer already?

Good morning, Jason Brunner, Scott Sheppard, et al;
Gentlemen, thank you. While Jason may well have a valid point about my question being off topic for this particular thread, the question did produce some remarkable results, and is appreciated.
However, Jason, my apology to you for blurting out my question in my enthusiastic recognition of another company of interest to me who has chosen to support APUG also. Now I have access to some products that will help me in my learning process with 4 by 5.
This news also is an indication of how reliable the information provided by my local Fujifilm vendor can be. Perhaps his comments were based on what he had in stock, and not on what was available from Fujifilm. His telling me that 4 by 5 instant film was not available is still disappointing, but now for another reason.
The growth of APUG may well be a true indication of just how viable film really is.

Now I do not feel guilty when I go to FreeStyle because they support APUG.

This is great news - I think it speaks volumes about Fuji's commitment to film photography.
