Someone has provided a spare (at least there was one when I had it).

I knew I put some in but they have a shelf life also. Decades don't hack it.

How many days since the first shot was taken, I wonder? Any worries about the integrity of the film in the camera? The camera probably baked in sweltering summer heat at least a few times during the journey. I suppose we shall see soon enough.

Therein lies the fun of the Travelling Camera project...
And the pain......

First shot was around April 1st of 2009.

Taken in Santa Clara County California. The film is Fuji 160 pro... hard to say what time and temp has done to it. I didn't expect it to take two years to finish the rounds. Not that I am complaining. It is what it is.

Film is like a box of chocolates....

How many times have you been incriminated by chocolate?
Oooooh, the plot thickens.

not to be nit picking or anything, but...

I would imagine that the batteries would be suited to get through ONE roll of film :D

How many more people does camera 6 need to visit? And is it going to arrive home before camera 7?

Steve.

While I'm beginning to feel somewhat aged by the title of "mothership" () .. And while it still has to travel to a couple of Countries on it's way... it is so good to see my baby on it's way home!

I don't think it's the title that adds the age. It's all that time it's been away from home!

Hello to all from New York City! The cameras arrived today, and all appears well. Will try to shoot tomorrow or Friday and send it on its way to lovely Rhode Island...

Almost home, Sile!
