If you're looking for cornerstone ideas...
Anagram generator (http://wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=cornerstone&t=1000&a=n)

The ones that caught my attention are...
Cone Snorter
Coroner Nest
Cornet Snore

and 745 others to choose from! :D

Steve I forgot what I took a photo of too!
Then I remembered the cornerstone bit and it all came flooding back to me!

Strangely, the fact that it's a cornerstone doesn't help!

EDIT: I have just remembered what it was!

Steve.

Y'all will get to explain your vision when we post all the photos in the gallery (and torque off a bunch of people again!).

Mine was a metaphysical concept (or I really couldn't think oif anything?). *L*

Vision? We have to have a vision? I thought this was a Point and Shoot camera... You mean I have to THINK?

Damn.

Thanks flatulent1....but I am afraid the anagram page didn't make a breakthrough....

I had a plan - but ended up with the unplanned plan B. With a couple of pages explanation I believe I will be able to convince you that I have followed the theme...

Anyway - the camera collection is now on its way to Germany.

Ah well, we can but try. On another thread I saw a link to the Galilean Telescope, which led me to a page on Cornerstone Projects in astronomy. Astronomical Cornerstone Projects (http://www.astronomy2009.org/globalprojects/cornerstones/)

But I think I like the anagram generator better.

Well...I think we need more focal length to get a picture of the cornerstones of the universe.

There's a pic of a very distant building shot through the telescope ($15 + ship) with a P&S. Very cool. At the 50x setting the moon almost fills the optic. I think it's called the Galileoscope, produced by some international astronomy education group. They're doing some neat stuff. This particular scope is Galileo's design with Koeppler's modifications.

I had some absolutely brilliant ideas of what cornerstone photo to take.. after I took my photo and posted the camera..
When you think laterally there are some very clever ideas..
I could tell you all but then then I'd have to kill you ... :o

Ah but being on the other side of the planet means I'd just have to travel to do it..

Hey, the camera arrived yesterday. I will try to get the cameras on their way over the pond tomorrow or on Tuesday.

Any word on the camera's whereabouts? Surely it's landed in the Great White North by now?

Perhaps the fine folks who work at Customs are taking a peek at the latent images. :o

It looks like the next person on the list is MartinB. But I see that he hasn't posted on APUG since last December -- has anyone been in contact with him since then?

Everyone on the list confirmed that they wanted to be on it by PM or email.. but I am a little concerned at it's not appearing at this stage..

Does anyone happen to have an email address for MartinB that we could contact him on?

And we were doing soooo well! :(
