Hi. Im a newbie from Swanton Morley in Norfolk, UK. Got this site address from Blakc & White Photography Magazine.
I started 'proper' photography last July after deciding I wanted to do some sort of evening course. I have always admired good pictures so I thought I would have a go and enrolled on City & Guilds Part 2 Photography and invested in a good condition Olympus OM40 Program SLR with a variety of lenses etc.

In the last couple of weeks we have started the black & white module and, although i don't have a darkroom, the volume of work means I have started developing at home, then taking the negs to work and scanning them in. (Is this cheating? Sorry!)

Hi neighbour, and welcome. Purists here may say that only prints should be scanned, but I’m not too pure either, so don’t worry about it. I hope you enjoy your C & G course, it’s quite tough, but I’m sure you will benefit from it. By the way your web address is not working correctly, best check it out, I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work, looks a bit wet where you are!
