Hi Paul,

I put the paper straight into the scanner. I'm not sure what will happen when you do the fixing first. I keep the paper in a light tight box. I'll have to give it a try. I think I might try devolopping as wel. You never know what the results might be.

Chemical development will make the image go black.

Chemical fixing will fade the image slightly, depending on type of fixer and paper it will fade more or less.

There was some discussion a while back about using a toner first, then fixing.

Yeah I thought I remembered something like that. Let me see if I can find the discussion again.

Took the sheet of RA-4 out. No image or discernable changes in colour. Dunked it briefly in to fixer, still nothing. Maybe a week in the bin will bring something out.

Reloaded the tin with a sheet of Agfa Brovira and put it back on the windowsill.

Looking forward to it. To bad the ra-4 didi do anything. With the agfe paper you will have succes.

In my experience, RA4 paper requires a lot more light to make aything, and at that point, it's not much.

Only B&W papers work for this.

@ Peter de Groot :

I used ilford multigrade fiber paper, matte. It was all I had laying around open already.

The can is an oatmeal can I didn't so neatly cut open. Then I took some 120 black backing from a roll of 120 film, taped it on with black tape, punched a hole with a pencil. I forgot to flock it with black matte first, but that's why I got a "V" on my image, it reflected off the bottom of the can...

Here's my contribution, taken with a broken old 6x6 bellow camera converted to a pinhole camera.
Exposed for three days.

I suppose it is too hot in Memphis for this. I built a pair of pinholes with the absolute tiniest aperture I could make. Mounted them on top of a building for a couple months and let them expose. The result? A hole almost burned through my paper and the paper crinkled and discolored. I am going to rework my plan this fall and try some winter exposures.
