I made some enquiries at the Dublin Camera Club meeting last night regarding the use of their premises for our next meeting in 2010 and I got a favourable response. Of course dates and times will need to be agreed upon but IMO its looking good. More information after "Christmas" (I know its far too early to mention that event, but I've beat Ben Dunne to it) .

Fair play to DCC for being positive about the use of their premises. Very decent altogether.

I received word today from the DCC that we can have use of its premises for next get together. I've just to finalise the date and procurement of the keys for us to go ahead. I'm thinking the middle of March?

Yes it's print showing I'm talking about and the date is Sat. 27th March subject to confirmation.

Thats good news, might be the push I need to get into the darkroom to make a few prints. I think I have only made two prints since we last met.

(Though I have a truly terrible admission to make regarding the means I have been using to create the latest project I have been working on. If I am feeling brave I might share it with the group, but we will speak no more of it now)

Great stuff, I'll be there. If there's going to be a big gang, maybe limit the prints to 10/12 per person...just a suggestion! Any idea of time yet?

I'd like to come along too if that's okay? Hopefully, I'll be back in the darkroom in the next few weeks, so I might even have a print or two to bring with me.
Is the venue close/easy to get to from Connelly?

Hi June that's good news and you are probably right about limiting the number of prints. I'm hoping to start the meeting around 2:30. Final details closer to the date.

I would love to join! Is there a theme etc for the prints or just bring what you like?

Rafal Lukawiecki: No theme, just bring along prints of what ever you enjoy taking pictures of...

I think June might have a good idea limiting the number of prints to 10 or 12. Sounds like there is going to be a good few turning up for this... fingers crossed anyhow...
