Have been a member for a few months. It is about time I say hello to everyone here. Really glad to meet so many people here still faithful with this dying art form.

Am staying in Malaysia. Hometown is in Penang (Pearl of the Orient)

Am a "born again" amateur photo enthusiast. Got into photography in the 70's abandoned it in the 80's and have a relook at it last year after selling off a business and going into semi-retirement.

Started off again with digicams. Was very disappointed with the quality and "feel good" factor.

Bought a Mamiya C330 and a nikon F90X with some lenses last year. Still using my high tech... OM1 for B&W.

Have found a very good bargain for a darkroom set and managed to set it up in the spare bedroom.

Hi Maxby,

I think the traditional art form you describe is actually alive and well. :) We've got a duty to make it stay that way.

I was born and raised in Penang too, it's nice to see a Penangite on APUG.
