Hi All,

It's that time of year again same system as last year:

Our volunteer moderator team are: David A. Goldfarb, Jd Callow, Ole, SuzanneR and JBrunner. The smooth running of APUG is a testament to their hard work.

Feel free to make a small donation to them as a thank you. I've included a paypal link to this post which will let you donate the amount you like (and produce a flag in my account so I can keep track). I will let this run until New Years, post the final amount, then close the thread and split the donations between them. I will be putting in $150.00 to get things rolling. With any luck the team will have enough for a nice dinner out & some left over for film.

Feel free to post a note in this thread stating you have contributed.

Here is the paypal link:

Creditcard instead of paypal here:

Thanks!

Sean

P.S. Last years info can be found here: http://www.apug.org/forums/forum38/56669-2008-holiday-tip-jar-apug-moderators.html

Last year we managed 90 donations totaling $555

Can we use something else instead of paypal Sean? I'll really never use them again but I want to hit the jar.

While I joined APUG under hardship conditions (lost my job), I feel that those who support APUG via their time are deserving of recognition. Confirmation number: 7YD399831V069081E

Done deal. It's not much, but from all of us to the five of you (kinda outnumbered, huh), thank you a great deal for all the behind-the-scenes stuff going on.

Sorry I'm late. Wish you Mods good light and tame APUGers in 2010.

I just realized - only 15 posts! This is pretty pathetic APUGers! Seriously shameful.

Perhaps some of us (like me) donated but didn't post anything in the thread.

Perhaps some of us (like me) donated but didn't post anything in the thread. Thanks Steve. I thought of that, but I'm skeptical of the numbers. 15 posts this year versus 90 contributions last year. I don't know what the post count was last year but I recall the thread went on for pages.

I know there are a lot of individuals who have benefited from APUG in many ways (directly, indirectly, networks, advice, skills development, inspiration, new techniques, commercial leads, and even their only place of 'human' interaction). Plus there a few current APUGers that require 'more' moderation than others. I hope they did the right thing and contributed financially in some ways.

Regards, Art.
