So I just realized that 6x7 negatives are not 6cm x 7cm. However, my 6x7 negative carrier ( for omega DII ) has a 7 cm long opening. This leaves black borders on the sides of my prints.
Is there any way to mask it so there is a nice, straight clean line? Or a neg carrier that is actually the same size as the negatives?

Crop the black borders out with your easel.

Can you get those kind of easels for 11x14 or bigger? Sorry, i've never used a true easel before.

Yes, the standard 4 bladed easel is generally for 11x14 in the USA. Bigger ones for 16x20 and 20x24 are also available.

Different cameras have slightly different image sizes, same for the 6x6, 6x7, 6x9 carriers and masks for different enlargers. None of the MF cameras I have ever owned ever matched any factory made carrier or fixed mask I have ever owned or used. This is a huge benefit of an adjustable mask negative carrier. It's even more fun if you use 2.25x3.25 cut sheet film, it needs its own glassless carrier.
