I just printed some post cards on Ilford's PostCard Paper and I have them sitting in a local shop to sell for $1.50....We will see where that goes.

That's a very interesting idea, let us know how it works out.

I have not sold anything for ages but that could be because I have not exhibited anything for ages. Back in 2002-4 landscapes were about $350 framed, but I have not shot in that vein for years. Cheaper prints can be a lot of fun, but from a commercial perspective, unless you are doing huge volumes, its not going to get you very far finaicially. I'm shooting reportage and thinking more along the line of books now :) Still, when life settles down again, I look forward to getting to grips with the 5x7 again. Right now its generally 35mm, so a wee bit smaller!

If I were to sell work again (at a point prior to retirement) I would only do so for at least double what I used to sell prints for.

Quick question, is matted unframed?

Thanks.

Man, you need to be in New York. You just don't seem to have that laid back, SoCal attitude.

In what way? ;)

All those "laid back" idiots moved here from some frozen hole anyhow to take our jobs and our sun.

BUMS!!

I sell my 7x7" prints matted and framed for $125. 10x10" prints matted and framed for $200.

Mine are worth thousands, but you can get them for hundreds. :)

My 10x14 digital (but from film capture!) are worth hundreds, but you can have them matted and in 16x20 aluminum frames for less than $50 at the annual local arts and crafts fair.
