This workshop (http://www.projectbasho.org/workshops/2010spring/photographic-studio-lighting.html) is for photographers who are prepared to challenge their studio shooting abilities. Instructor Hugh Hales-Tooke (http://www.hughhales-tooke.com/) will engage students in exploring a creative approach to creating a studio portrait. Students will be encouraged to consider how to combine lighting and environment to create compelling portraits by thinking of lighting as a means to shape the imaginary world.
