Just an idea:
Ag Photographic sell a 8" roll of Metallic for £120. Could we pool our resources to buy and cut down a roll?
13 boxes of 25 8x10 sheets would be £9.50 per box.
Obviously we'd need someone with a large enough darkroom to cut the roll down and maybe we'd all need to supply a box & black bag. I put this in the UK forums but I suppose anyone could pitch in.
Any interest?

At £10 per box, I for one would certainly be interested - You'd also need to factor in postage, say around £2.50 if packaging is supplied by the buyer.

I would love a box of this! I had a sample of this paper and it looked fantastic.

I'd pitch in for this as well at £10 a box plus postage. That's 4 of us and only 9 more to go.

I'd be interested, too. at that price.

That's a fantastic idea. I would like a box. I would be prepared to take two if that would help to make it happen.
Please keep me informed.

One problem - the paper has been updated now to Endura Metallic VC, ie: optimised for exposure digitally which means if you optically expose and balance colour for skin tones apparently the shadows can develop a cyan cast......but
- we haven't actually tried it [optical exposure] yet; and
- I have a 50" roll here and the label states "for digital or optical exposure"
so maybe the jury is still out.

I run an analog darkroom here in Australia and we hand print Kodak Metalic VC without problems.

Very old thread... but Endura Metallic is a nice finish! Just got some old cut sheets myself (still usable with extra filtration) and might have to get myself a roll while it is still available in the non-VC version though it is interesting to read that the above person optically prints the VC version (they still didn't state whether they are getting cyan shadows).
