Am retired and have had an interest in photography for many years. Started with 35mm and now 6X6 using Mamiya TLR's, Rolleiflex, Yashica EM etc. Just completed home darkroom so looking forward to more B & W. Have many 6X6 slides which are superb on screen. 35mm includes Nikon F2, Pentax LX (both superb cameras) and a selction of Russian cameras which I really like. Often built like tanks but also can have great optics. Do some of that new-fangled medium but still have soft spot for film. Have a Tele Vue Genesis refractor and hope to pursue astrophotography - would like to hear from anyone of similar interest. G'day to everyone!

Carcoar! Bloody hell, they've just graduated from glass plates out there! Welcome to APUG. Can you still get film in Bathurst? Nice gallery there that occasionally puts on some good photography shows.

Welcome to Apug, you will like it here. I stopped there last year for a cup of tea, delightful place, should be great for your film photography.
