Sean, I checked my numbers and it doesn't look good. You'll have to be stuck in that cubicle for a little while longer while I find more money. I also work at a dry cleaners and anything under $1 in the pockets (i.e. change) we can keep. As no one won and it will be ~$75million on Wednesday I'll save up the change and buy a ticket instead of a soda :)

Thanks guys. John I take the ferry home so it's not too bad, but in Auckland traffic getting out there can be a disaster. Do you know much about the Auckland Festival of Photography that's coming? Is it spread out all over auckland or in 1 area? I saw an advert for it but have not looked into it yet. If it's worth checking out I wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you guys to have a look. Just let me know..

Yes - there are a few of us thinking of getting involved. Will let you know what we organise. To start here is a bit of info .....

great! :)

Things are looking good. The cost of the rebuild is covered! Now anything incoming will be going towards a years hosting fee which is due in October (by then we should have that covered too). Software renewal fees are clear for a while..

I'm going top bump this thread again because I just noticed that many of the most active members of this site have yet to subscribe. C'mon folks, isn't APUG worth $1 a month???

Hi

I got my account transactions yesterday and I found out that I donated 86 danish kroner to this site. In Denmark that's equal to 3½ rolls of Kodak Tri-X or T-Max 400. This is kinda cheap for a years subscription to a quality page with only small banners and no pop-ups.

To Aggie:
Mit røde hår (My red hair)

Jeg er vild med at tage billeder af søde piger i sexet tøj!

count me in. i was elated when i found this site. i feel 'at home' here more than anywhere else. the people are great and the site is fairly easy to deal with. i run my own little server that's for friends (and some friends-of-friends).. small websites, a couple databases, some domains, etc. in a colo in california. so i know what it's like to pay for service. so today i'm doing my part and supporting your site. keep up the good work!

You site is good. However, I am satified with the other souces of information exchange. Therefore, do not count on me (and probably several others) for a subscription.

It's all voluntary. No one has to pay. Those of us who choose to contribute do it freely. I for one wish to contribute to in a small way say thank you to Sean and all of his hard work. He does this with no pay. I'm sure if you find other sources more satisfying, that is again your choice. No one here has demanded a thing of you. I'm sure that a newbie to this site would want to wait more than a few hours to make the kind of statement that involved others.
