Sorry if this info has already been posted, but I did spend a goodly few minutes searching without success. I see that there was an Ilford 'Custom Cut' run in 2009 for various film formats. Will there be something similar in 2010?

Thanks,
J

Simon Galley posted this recently in the big Kodak film deletions thread:

>> As to specualation about our film product range ( and indeed paper ) absolutely no changes whatsoever are planned or expected, we have well over 2,000 SKU's in film, paper, chemistry and accessories, but it means doing many things differently in 2010 ( and before that ) such as coating SFX only twice per annum and producing our ULF film run once per annum and only making ULF available in FP4+ and HP5+ ( which we will, of course, do again in 2010 ). <<

I'm one of the Ilford retailers who handle the ULF sales in Canada.

I've been involved the last couple years.

I haven't yet heard any news about this years run, but will make a post as soon as I hear.

Dear All,

We will be doing the ULF/ special size run again this year as aluded to above.

As soon as we have agreed the timescales ( order period / collation / finishing / shipment ex UK ) with our distributors and our ULF reselller partners I will advise you all.

I'm keeping my eyes firmly on this thread.

But tell me: I don't live in the USA or in the UK, so where would I place my order?

Also, I've looked at the sizes cut in previous years, and on http://www.ilfordphoto.com/, and I notice that half-plate size (4 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches) is not mentioned anywhere. I'd be in for at least 100 sheets of half-plate FP4+, if it were available.

You can order from me if you want. I ship around the world. The program hasn't started yet though.
I'm based out of Canada.

Any word on the release date for the 2010 custom run? I'm completely out of FP4+ in whole plate, and I'm about to need several boxes of 14x17 FP4+ as well.

I usually buy a couple boxes more than I have orders for so I have stock of WP now.

It's available!

I've ordered from Rob in the past and received the film in just a few days, border crossing included. No problem.

About three weeks ago, I ordered more WP film from Glazer's Camera in Seattle. My film was drop-shipped from their distributor. Had it in three days. Order by phone, ask for Ann (maybe it's Anne?).

Damn, WP is addictive.
