If Kodak Ultra Endura is going to be the paper for home RA4 printing going forward, what differences can we expect versus Supra Endura ?
(So far, I've only used Supra Endura N and find it very nice)

You will find the digital papers to be very high contrast.

Hmm... Kodak claim it to be suitable for optical printing... can we control contrast in RA4 ? (I think I read we can't)

The sell sheet makes Ultra sound quite nice actually, but might not be ideal for all subjects. I wonder if it's the same thickness as Supra ?

I think it is the same thickness. You can control contrast by adding sodium sulphite, but not saturation.

I printed the same negative using Supra and Supra VC and posted the results here somewhere. While VC was higher in contrast, it wasn't a crazy difference. If you are in business doing optical prints and need the same color and contrast as the old, it won't work, but if you are a fine artist printing your own stuff like I do, you can adjust to it's qualities just like when Kodak discontinued B&W paper and had to change to something else.

Just out of curiosity, what is the likelihood of someone, or maybe a group of people, being able to make a color emulsion in their home? Is there something that simply makes it impossible for the individual to do, or is it just not worth the effort to try it?
