Well, I might as well introduce myself: I am gene From Springfield, MA and have been seriously involved in photography for about 19 years. Though I have had a dry spell the last 6 years - one car family, shuttling two active kids all over the state.
I use a couple of Fuji MF rangefinders and a Calumet Cadet 4x5, shooting mostly Ilford FP4+ & HP5+ developed in PMK Pyro.
I like landscapes and quirky still-lifes. I view the world through a warped set of eyes.
I only have a few prints scanned - some of my work can be seen on Fujirangefinder.com and at the Ilfopro Members Gallery. But would love to find someone who could scan my 11x14 prints, without my having to take out a second mortgage.
Hey, there's a spell-check button - I won't sound like a complete idiot!
Really glad there is a site dedicated to traditional photography - thanks to those making this site possible.

Welcome. I use a manual 645 from time to time and was unaware of the Fuji site. Thanks for the intro.

Welcome Gene. Always nice to hear from one more film dinosaur and Luddite like me. I can understand the 6 year dry spell. I had a 15-20 year spell where I pretty much only took family event and vacation pictures. Getting married and having kids sometimes does that :)

Welcome, Gene. I look forward to you posting some of your images. There are a lot of us here who had long dry spells and came back to traditional photography. Glad you're one of them.

Good to see you here! (I've admired your photos on Ilford). I think you'll find this site extremely active!

Thanks all. I know that I will get to know you better as time goes on - a couple of names I recognize from other forums.
Jeanette, thanks for the compliment. With your enthusiasm for photography, I know that you must have some good photos to share. I've got to take some time to discover everybody's work in the Gallery.
