I may possibly be slightly late. My mother in-law passed away and what with getting the missus to Germany first in no time flat, and arranging a temporary passport due to a passport that would have run out on a flying overseas visit, I'm now catching my breath,

I hope to print in the coming week or on the coming weekend.

Mike sorry about the work thing, things will surely work out far better, they did for me a couple of decades ago.

Scott, I've been in camera clubs for the past 25-30 years, they have their good points, just absorb the points that are good for you, that's what I do.

Works wonderfully!

Mick.

I'm sure it'll work out. I am planning on gate crashing the Gordon's christmas party and making a disgraceful drunk of myself. Well....I'm only half joking.
Mike
Don't worry Mike, I'll join you in that! My favourite Woody Allen (mis)quote: "The thing I hate about office Christmas parties, is looking for a new job the next day."

...he is a good talker. But after last night personally I feel he lacks any technical knowledge in photography.
What is it they say, 'Those who can't do, teach.' I'd then say 'those who can't teach, judge'

Gary the typical photography judge I have been seeing lately is "Kyle Sandilands on a bourbon bender"

They don't even see that the photo is on RC or fiber photographic paper.
...I don't know which sentence made me laugh more!

...I come to the conclusion that he only person that needs to be happy with my prints is me, if somebody else like them good for them.
So true.

Sorry to hear that, Mick. Take your time to print, and I'm sure that will be fine.

Ok got my prints printed & toned now. Never realized what an operation it is to get 10 identical prints made. Shoot I never made & toned 10 prints before.

Well, my prints are on the way! I was looking at least toning them in KRST, but I ran out of time. The next time I would have been able to do any darkroom work would have been the 29th, which would have been too late.

I posted mine to Tim this morning. I hope everyone who gets one of mine likes it.

Mine have been sitting in a dark box for the past however-long-it's-been (weend and a half, two weeks?). Going to pull them out tonight and, if I still like them, will post them off in the morning.

I've printed pictures and they've been sitting under a pile of books for 2 weeks.
I hope I still think they're suitable once I pull them out.

nice work, I've made prints from 2 negatives and have had them up on the wall for the past week to make a decision on which one I like best and if I need to print them differently.

Ok got my stuff all packaged up. Not exactly raped in the quality, strange marks have appeared after toning. I read on several threads others having the same problem. I suspect its my paper, cheap crap from Vanbar. Looking at my picture a nice mat fiber would have given it an awesome 1940's effect.

Sounds great, can't wait to see it

Bad news for me.
My prints are looking pretty good but storing them under random books was a bad idea. There's food scraps and all sorts all over the prints. Sorry guys, I don't have time to reprint. I'm pretty ashamed of how they look but they'll have to do!

Thanks for organising this Tim.
