I bet the book was bought from the store just across the Lane, they often put Penguin classics in the window.

ha ha ha - from a restaurant reviewer:
From the getting ignored, to the dirty looks from the owner and helper, to the only average at best food, we wonder why anyone would rate this place highly. Not a good experience and will certainly not be returning.
It can be like that first time - but once you get into the swing of the place and know what to order (there is no menu) its one of the best places round for a quick and hearty meal (prices determined after the fact)
Sad story. Aren't those cameras intended to deliver fun?

I would guess it was fun in the "moment." Unfortunately the shuttter was not set for bulb/time.
