The main APUG Forums are strictly non-digital forums, however at times there are gray areas regarding the use of traditional and digital processes. These are known as hybrid processes, and on APUG, a hybrid process falls under the umbrella of alternative processes. This is not a digital forum for discussing 100% digital workflow. This forum is for the discussion of using traditional and digital processes together as an alternative process. Some examples would be creating digital negatives for contact printing on photographic paper, or scanning film then outputting that scan to a digital print.
