I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or comments on Konica Minolta or more specifically, their SLR, Maxxum 70.

Hathaway 10-06-2004, 07:11 PM I just purchase a Minolta Maxxum 70 the other day. I am still tring to figure out how to use the features. If you have some suggestion please let me know. I have only take one roll of film and the pictures didn't turn out that well. Not the camera's falt, but my lack of no how. Thanks asegreti 12-01-2004, 05:07 PM i didnt notice that anyone replied to this until now...anyway, my experience with the camera has been okay. its not the best or the worst camera in the world. so far my pictures have turned out pretty decent...anyway, what happened with yours...have you figured out more of the features? Melanie 12-01-2004, 06:59 PM HI I have a FT-1 and a autoreflex TC both are Konica's, I found the instructions on the internet, the FT- 1 is mostly electric and probable more like your camera. takes great pictures and is pretty easy to work one's you read thru the instructions. Melanie isaacc7 12-01-2004, 07:04 PM I sell camera equipment and my opinion is that it's basicly the same kind of camera as a Nikon N80 or a Canon Rebel T2, just with a better price and a MUCH better viewfinder. Seriously, the photographer is such a huge variable that the camera (at this level) is almost inconsequential. As long as you like how it handles and you can get the lenses you wantr for it, it's the right one for you! Isaac asegreti 12-02-2004, 10:18 AM i think the price is why i decided on the Maxxum 70...being a student i dont have all that much money to buy a really great camera...at first i did think that getting lenses might be a problem because it seems like everywhere is dominated by Cannon and Nikon...but they are readily available so i am not too worried. and i used to have an older model Cannon, which had some lens issues, and like the Minolta more. |
