I was surprised when I saw Dan’s picture. Bill had left his Lumix on the table when Dan was playing. Not knowing how to use it, I shot two similar, but more close cropped on it. Before I read the text, I thought Bill had posted the pics.

Thank you again Alex.

I wondered who that old hippie was playing the banjitar....then realized who it was!
Now you need to have a banjitar as well Dan, they are addicting eh? We could have banjitar wars next year:)

It is a fun instrument to play, Steve. I'm lusting after a dulcimer right now.

Well I finally got my C-41, E-6, and Super 8 off to various labs. C-41 I can pick up next week Tuesday, E-6 and Super 8 in several weeks. I also need to get some Rodinol to develop the Owro NP55 as well.

Just one lonely roll left to process, will probably get to it this afternoon.

Lessions learned: HC-110 is your friend, wear gloves in the change bag, have more than one reel for your tank so you can cycle them around.

So countdown for next year?

I really hope I'll be able to make it in 2013. Managed 2008 and 2011 so far. I really ought to go through all those old negs and get printing.

And the last piece of the puzzle. The Super 8 footage. Yes the quality is bad, the focus is out, but I like it. Cut together in Premiere Pro, added music, and bam, a decent piece.

Sorry I couldn't make it this year. This little film is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I brought home an old Bolex movie camera from a thrift store in Scotland this summer. Maybe it's time to use it! Who processes your film?

I used Dwayne's Photo in Parsons, KS to process and Telecine.
