I know they had a call centre (that's where a work colleges girl friend used to work).
As for the auction - there is plenty of tempting stuff, but in reality, it would need to go for rock bottom prices for me to be interested in it.
I like how cappuccino machine is in bold
So, it looks like their shitty online bidding applet is blocked from my work. Anyone want to put a $200 bid on a couple of Bowens flashes for me? All y'all know me well enough (I hope) to know I'm not a flake ;)
Edit: they accept emailed proxy bids. So I'll do that.
Haha! Anyone want to bid up to $200 for a 'Blad kit for me?
No, it's a firewall issue. Their Java applet wants to open a private TCP connection which is not permitted.
Anyway, please no one bid on 272 or 306. Pick different flashes if it's flashes you want. Hoffy: email the dude (James) your bids by 9am and they will be included.
Note the presence of a pair of Nikon 8000s!
Did you end up buying anything? I tried to look as well while at work and had the same issues with the Java plug in. I'd be curious to see how much some of this gear went for.
I looked at the interbid website (fortunately) just as 306 was auctioned. It showed $300 (more than my bid) but I don't know what the closing price was. All items before that were listed as "Gone" so I don't know closing prices in general. I'm pretty sure I didn't win 272 either as I haven't heard from MGS.
This Blad kit (Lot 197) went for $950:
