Different brands have different glows;)
The AGFA APX tape you can pull pretty quick without seeing anything.
With Kodak there is a little glow if you watch carefully and pull quick.
But the party piece is Ilford's PANF. It's easy tape and you can actually see your hands in the light it generates. Never seems to effect the film, good thing it's only iso 50. Still, pull slow, just in case!
AgfaPhoto plant = gone
Kodak = is going to be gone
Ilford Photo = kicking
I guess this explains the different glow effects...
Love this thread!
I've seen the "demon glow" from film tape for many, many years, but not all the time. Well, that's obvious since I don't spend ALL my time developing film!
What a pity I didn't keep records. Imagine, fifty years of tape glow.I never saw any fogging as a result, unless I'm foggy enough. Hmm, since I'm becoming an old fogy....
"Fifty years of Tape Glow"
Would make a great title for a book...
