I thought my photographic tasks over the past weekend were going to be simple. Just develop some exposed sheet film and do some long overdue pt/pd prints for a film test.

Saturday was fine. Sunday, well…

Sunday started out poorly when I had put my initial water wash into the Jobo tank and started it rotating on my Unicolor motor. This was fine, except when I walked away for a minute, imagine my horror when I heard the sound of water hitting the carpet. Oh no!

So, I stopped the motor, grabbed the now empty tank and ran back into the bathroom. I sorted out this mess and proceeded to develop the film and the negatives looked fine when I pulled them out of the tank later. The short version of this story is that I was lucky and things worked out.

Unfortunately, due to having to declutter my desk and clean up all the water that was spilled while developing, I didn’t get any prints made.
