nothing stinks more than processing 6 rolls of 120 film at once
using developer that worked not too long ago
only to realize it was nearly dead ...
after the film was fixed and washed

And you can't drink it either . . . Is this the first developer failure of this variety?

    hi bill

5 years ago i had a similar problem and i stopped for a few months before
i decided to do it again ... i think this stuff died because of the summer heat
and because i made it a month or 2 ago ...
i think i am back to 1 shot ... at least i will know it works before i waste 2 weeks of film in it

the film is too thin and looks absolutely clear
but if i sc--n it there is something there
and it is kind of mind blowing.

i better not talk much about this because
i will be cast out into the cold

not sure if the glass is half full or half empty

I hate it when that happens.

Hopefully you can make something of it.

    John,
Try to scan to see if there is something.
    If yes, try Lith print.
Massive exposure... like 1 or 2 seconds :-)
    It could work.

thank you both for your encouragement !
i was able to sck-n the film that had nothing on it
and somehow the magic beam found things to reproduce.

i should have realized the developer was dead
when the paper negatives didn't develop ...
i mixed some a130 and dunked the paper in it ...
i should have double timed the a130 for the film ...

    oh well, lessons learned -

    hi rom

    no need to be sorry,
i should have tested the developer to see if it was still good
or made new before i bothered to process important film in it ...
    i've had worse happen

    thanks though !
    john
