yesterday i posted a entry to my apug blog with images in it that were
shamelessly manipulated in PS rather than keep it here,
i removed it.
if you would like to see what i was doing feel free to go here:
it isn't that what i was doing was crazy PS it was easy to do it and have fun
and took 30seconds, instead of 3 hours ...
in anycase, sorry if i stepped over the line ..

i just loaded a handful of lumenprints, glass and paper, into my imagekind gallery.
a portion of the profits go to the RI FOOD BANK. since i started to sell artwork like this
i have donated almost $400 to charity.
around 240 images in my galleries ... abstract, documentary, floral, france local-treats, ruins &c
small prints unmounted are pretty cheap

i shook my head this morning as i cleaned brokenglass off of my darkroom floor.
almost 24 years ago i had a big sheet of glass
it was coated with liquid light
it had a great image already on it,
it was covered with all sorts of thing i printed with ...
and i bumped into it and it shattered ...
i cleaned up the mess,
and soon after took some of the broken plate
and enlarged them.
i still have a film box with a few
as a response to keith's question about coffee and how i use it ...
originally i wrote this as part of my previous blog entry, but i figure it might be worthy of a post of its own ...
first i have to do the whole disclaimer thing ...

today i exposed a whole bunch of paper in a box camera, and the results were pretty fun.
it seems that 15 second exposures sometimes more, sometimes less worked OK for my
aged bottled emulsion. i used a stack of paper that was given to me 10-15 years ago
not sure what kind it is, but its thin, not thick/rag paper. i have been doing cyanotypes on this paper
and hand coated lumen prints so it seems to work ok ...
the paper was coated 3 times and cut down to 4x5
