The Dark At The End Of The Tunnel

Posted 02-10-2008 at 09:41 PM by Kevin Caulfield
Well, it's not too far away at all now. I can see the light, make that dark, at the end of the tunnel. My revolving darkroom door goes in on Wednesday. That in itself means that I need to have everything large in the room beforehand, and that includes the table and the enlarger. I've had a larger sink installed and had the exhaust fan replaced and reconnected. I've put up a cover for the skylight and a baffle for the exhaust fan. I'm making a light-proof removeable cover for the downlight, which leaks light around its edges. Once the door is in I need to start cracking into my pile of undeveloped film. It's quite exciting after about eight months without a darkroom.

You know the saying: "When you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, hope that is not a train"

Good luck and I am sure you will have hours of pleasure in your new setup.
