Thanks, Steve. I am very reluctant to buy a small accessory which costs as much as I paid for my LPL-760XL (in near mint condition). It appears that the fine focus control is merely a rotational step-down device and something similar might be available from a company which specializes in precision tools or instruments. A shaft coupler could be used to connect it to the LPL focus shaft.

A little off topic, but I printed an RA-4 print tonight using chemicals I brewed at the very beginning of April. I was afraid they wouldn't work, but the print came out beautifully (developing wise). I need to work on exposure/color balance, though it isn't too bad....just some highlights that are almost pure white.
I used Arista chemicals....just thought I'd share.
