Interesting. I've been curious to try platinum, but considering how much silver paper I destroy before I'm finally satisfied (if at all), the potential costs sort of put me off. I may need to rethink that. I wonder, what would be a ballpark starting exposure time if I tried exposing in bright sunlight (southern California)? I'm not asking for an exact time, just an approximate starting or "middle" time. For instance with cyanotypes it seems to be between 4 and 6 minutes depending on the negative. Would platinum-palladium be about the same?
