For this allegory to be complete, it should have mentioned that the original restaurant owner bought your dinner at the second restaurant (much like this forum's owner has created a place for those with interests outside of APUG).
I love seafood and I usually go to restaurants that specialize in JUST seafood when I'm in the mood. I go to that same Italian restaurant and I'm not bothered by the fact that it doesn't serve seafood but I go there for the atmosphere and ambiance as much as for the massive helpings of pasta dishes.

Isn't this a private business? If so, they have a right to run their business as they see fit. You are way out of line to make such a fuss. If you don't like their menu, go somewhere else. Additionally, bringing food into a restaurant is not very smart. If people get sick, the restaurant could be sued for allowing it. Again, you're way off base on this - go where they serve what you want!
