It's not considered a great lens... But I wouldn't be unhappy to have the chance to prove it to myself. I used to see them at camera shows for not too much money. Priced within reach when I was in my fourth job out of school (maybe it was the economy, maybe it was me but I used to go through a lot of jobs).
