FS: Nikon Coolscan III
This would be kind of a gray area of the gray area, but I would prefer to sell it to an Apugger and Apug get a cut than eBay.
Nikon Coolscan III w/ film strip holder and slide holder. This is a SCSI scanner so you will need to get a SCSI cord and card to use it. I don't use it anymore so it's just sitting neglected.
Last used about 4 months ago and it worked wonderfully then.
$100 + shipping

Hey, I don't know what gives here. I have tried to contact Jeremy by email and through the private message forum here, but have not heard from him at all? If any of you have a direct line to Jeremy please jog him for me.

Hmm, that's odd. I didn't get the message and furthermore, this thread didn't pop up on my "New Posts" list on the 27th. Sandy, I also found a SCSI cord which works with this scanner (no card, though) which you can have along with the scanner if you want it. I've sent you a PM.

That is a great price on an excellent scanner.

Yes, I am really pleased to buy it at this price, and Jeremy and I have finally made contact!
I don't do a lot of 35mm work these days but I have some older negatives and slides, primarily the latter, that I would love to scan and turn into small (5X7") alternative prints via the digital negative route.

Couldn't help but check into Apug one more time before hitting the sack and had to toss in a note for Sandy: this scanner will definitely suffice to make a 5"x7" digineg which is what I had been using it for. The problem came when I upgraded to the larger Epson 2200 printer and wanted to do larger prints the Coolscan's ~2700dpi just wouldn't cut it as it would limit me to ~7.5x11.25" at 360dpi w/o cropping or interplorating. Well, I moved to a Polaroid 4000 which can spit out a wonderful 11x14, but I'm still working small! Hell, my LF film is only 3x4" and I love contact printing those--maybe I just need to bite the bullet and buy a 11x14" camera
