Epson 7600 do not recognise Agfa SelectJet

I think that title says it all. I find a birou that is willing to print some negatives for alternative processes for me, and I was able to find Agfa's SelectJet material. But bloody printer would not recognize the medium!!!!!!!!!

What could be done, or what kind of settings need to be used for this printer to work with this media?

Hi,

I am using the same material with the Epson4000. Even that it is not the same printer, I was successful by selecting" Premium lustre photo paper".

The machine doesn't "recognize" materials. It's up to you to either pick the type of paper in the printer menu, find a manufacturer's profile for the paper, find a second source profile for the paper, have a paper profile made, or make a profile yourself for the paper.

With the 7600, the "Premium Lustre" setting is about as close as you're going to get in the printer setup menu.
