Digital negative services?
Is there anyone out there providing enlarged digital negative sevices?

What exactly are you asking. If there are services around that can scan negatives, and provide you with the resulting digital file? Yes there are many, look in the phone book.
If that’s not what your asking, please clarify for me.

Peter, Sorry I didn't me to be so cryptic. I,m looking for a service were I send in my 11x14 negative they scan it, retouch, contrast controll.....than produce an enlarge neg at 20x24.
I guess I'm looking for someone or a service who is doing this on a regular bases that a member might be able to recomend.
Thank you,

Mike,
I will be doing this as a service, but I can't handle the sizes you are talking about. My drum scanner only goes to 8x10 and my film recorder ony goes to 11x14. I know there are many drum scanners out there that can handle 11x4. I don't know of any film recorders that can goto 20x24. Your options that I know of are: 1) use an inkjet, which seems to be acceptable for hand coated papers; 2) convince Bob Carnie to setup his Durst Lambda to write on FP4 rolls (he was working on this); 3) find one of the last remaining image setters. I haven't come across anyone who will do this all for you at this size.

Thanks Larry,
I think I'll have to go the inkjet route once I retene someone to do the scanning, or sneak a new flatbed Microtek through the basement window.
