    11x14 negs made from lightjet??

What is the best technology for making 11x14 or better yet 16x20 black and white negs from a scanned 8x10 for contact printing? Is there a place that anyone would recommend that does superb work with such a thing?

Also, I can't for the life of me find the guy's name that Sandy King gave me that has a lightjet in I believe New Hampshire. I want to contact him. iIf anyone knows who I'm talking about I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

    Thanks
    Bob

The answer to your question depends on type of final output. If you plan to print with alternative processes inkjet technology on Pictorico will give more than enough quality, IMO.

If on the other hand you plan to print on silver papers you need Laser or LED output.

I am going to try the Duraclear in Lambda first off as 1. I am very busy with this new equipment and getting ready for the APUG conference. and 2. I have profiles for duraclear as well a willing alternative printer here in town testing it.
I will be moving to real film sometime near the conference so that I can show Sandy my tests.

here is a question you may want to help me with.
World wide the Lambda is used for positive output , therefore the profiles and densitometers are all set up for positive printing.
Now I want to produce a negative.
By using duraclear *which has profiles* I can balance to the material and then in PS invert the file to get a negative image.
If I want to put a negative roll now in the Lambda the solution is not so obvious to me.
It is the only hold back area for me as well I am building a negative processer for larger sheets that is as well a hold back.*with duraclear I have a processor in the same room.*
I am having a hard time getting my head around how I am going to fool the densitometer when balancing in the lasers for the 21 step control processes.
    * the lambda requires a balance step wedge before it will operate consistantly*
With your imaging device can you profile negative and positive materials??
