I have the above Epson scanner and have recently been given the "Transparency" accessory for the scanner ($800.00 when new!) Does anyone have any experience with this particular set-up and could it be put to any practical use today? I have a number of negs and chromes that I would like to scan. Would this be suitable at all? The ES1200C was a good scanner in its day and came bundled with Photoshop 3.0.5! Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, the scanner is hooked up to a semi-retired PowerMac 7500.
