(I bought this item for utilitarian snapshot purposes only)!

My new little Minolta Konica X 60 Dimage has a vertical white line running from top to bottom on the LCD screen slightly left of the middle of the screen. What is this and is it common? Is there any way to get rid of it? The seller is sending me a return label but if it's something that I fix through some trick- I'd rather do that.

If anyone has any comments about the X 60, I would like to hear them.
